Thank you for visiting my website. I am Rynardt Spies and I'm an IT Technical Consultant, currently specializing in virtualization, mainly focused on VMware. I live with my wife Sarah and baby Lanie in Hertfordshire, just outside north London, UK.

I've been working in IT for the past 8 years. I originally started out in application and database development with Delphi, C++ and Oracle. I have a diploma in Comprehensive Programming [Dip.Comp.Prog (CTI)], and I'm also a VMware Certified Professional (VCP ID:10305) in VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3 as well as vSphere 4. 

I somehow ended up in desktop and server support (Thank God mainly server support), but for the last 4 years, I've mainly been focused on virtualization with VMware. I'm currently employed as a Technical Consultant at a large UK service provider. Lately, my main area of interest is infrastructure design, including both physical and virtual infrastructures. I always find good challenges in designing and building secure and cost efficient infrastructures and solutions.
